Hello Family and Friends,
I’m looking forward to posting genealogy and family history information on both my husband’s and my ancestral lines and we hope to hear from “cousins” and new friends. Whether you’re connected to the family or simply have an interest in the surnames we’d enjoy a contact. Here are the names we’re studying: Arbuckle, Boss, Daly, Shane, Walker, Hogan, and Samels. My husband’s lines are: Sherman, Hartwell, Higley, Leach, Neust, Edgeworth, and of course Edminster, and these you will find on my companion blog “The Family File“. If any of these names “ring a bell” with you please send us a message at “susaned1@verizon.net.” We’d love to hear from you and will respond quickly.
In order to navigate you can either just scroll down through the posts, or find the item of interest in the categories and archives to look for specific information. For example clicking on a family name in the “Families” list will take you to files associated with that name.
The information provided is freely available for personal use but may not be used for commercial purposes. If you have any questions about this or anything else about the site please don’t hesitate to contact me, and in the meantime I hope you have an enjoyable visit to the “Echo Hill Ancestors Weblog.”

Hi Sue,
I am interested in finding out about a relative of mine who lived in Cathlamet, WA in the early 1900s. I know that she resided in Cathlamet in 1929. Her name was Lovisa Lindkvist and her husband was Johan Lindkvist. Lovisa was born in Oja, Finland on 7/14/1859 and her maiden name was Lovisa Mattsdotter Haga. I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of any geneological society in Cathlamet.
Also, I have a friend from Michigan whose maiden name is Edminster. Her first name is Jean. Please let me know if you would like me to send her your email.
Thanks,

Aunt Sue it’s Amber Ballard Pat’s gran daughter. I was wondering if I could get a copy of our family tree if possible. I also want to start research on my Grandfathers (ballard) side as well. Any help you could give me would be great. I love the Blog!!
