George A. Waker, Jr.

Good Evening,

I’m very grateful to my cousin Nancy Summerill for providing a copy of the picture of George A. Walker, Jr. in WWI. You can see him in the back row right by the “X” and from the look of it he’s quite happy. George A. Walker, Jr., was Nancy’s grandfather.

The letter that follows the photo is from George A. Walker, Sr., to his son George A. Walker, Jr.
and was written in 1918. Nancy contributed this wonderful piece of family history as well as the picture, and some others that I’ll post a bit later.

I hope you all enjoy this gift as much as I have.

Sue
